Patient Care Philosophy

As an experienced radiation oncologist at Willamette Valley Cancer Institute, Dr. Haidy Lee values teamwork, and not just among the caregivers at WVCI. She knows the team includes the patient and family members.

“I believe my job is to offer hope, comfort and support to every patient I see,” she says.

That support comes in many forms. She may offer a radiation treatment, provide a wealth of information or simply offer a listening ear when patients need to talk.

Analytical, patient and flexible, Dr. Lee treats all types of cancer and has a special interest in treating patients with lung and brain tumors with stereotactic radiation therapy. She appreciates working with state-of-the-art technology in a constantly changing field.
