As the Practice Director for WVCI, Debbie Piccolo is focused on creating an environment that is both patient-centric and efficient.
“Making sure that our patients come first in everything we do is critical. Creating workflow that enables our providers and staff to take care of our patients in a caring environment is essential.”
Inquisitive and dedicated, Debbie is a problem solver by nature and is always looking beyond the box to find the best avenues to achieve any goal at hand. She recognizes that patients have a choice in where they seek care and that WVCI has a tremendous responsibility to ensure that patients are both educated about their disease and well supported in the choices they make.
“We have the privilege to care for people during a difficult time in their lives, as well as an obligation to ensure that our patients are fully informed about their treatment options. Having a dedicated research team at WVCI that focuses on emerging therapies through clinical trials is a tremendous opportunity to extend the quality of our patients’ lives. That is the goal of our entire staff.”
In her free time, Debbie enjoys spending time with family, hiking, visiting the coast and traveling.
