Dana Weber

Clinical Quality and Education Manager

An Oncology nurse first and foremost, Dana Weber uses her training to implement safe, patient-centered care at WVCI. As the Quality and Education Team Supervisor, Dana focuses on ensuring that WVCI provides data-driven, evidence-based best practices for all our patients.

“We evaluate feedback from our patients and clinicians to improve processes, ensure their safety, and ultimately, provide the best care for our patients.”

Compassionate and positive, Dana is motivated daily by a deep desire to help patients feel heard and valued. Originally starting her career as a Pediatric Hematology/Oncology nurse, Dana admits to always feeling called to care for patients with cancer or blood disorders. As she continues her work in Adult Oncology at WVCI, Dana is inspired by her colleagues’ commitment to patient care and focus on continual improvement.

“Through evaluating our processes and data, I get to make sure that our patients are at the center of everything we do.”

When Dana isn’t reading reports or in meetings, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 children (Margot and JD) taking road trips and camping. She loves being outside hiking, fishing, paddle boarding, camping, and doing yoga.
