Motivated and curious, Betty Goracke Olguin enjoys strategizing and researching new ways to improve patient care. As a nurse practitioner, Betty says a team-based approach is crucial to providing the most comprehensive care for patients.
“It is an honor and privilege to work with people from all walks of life,” she says. “I strive to help patients identify health goals that are true to their values and coordinate care around those values.”
Betty has a special interest in clinical trials, as they advance the treatment of cancer, as well as survivorship care because it empowers patients to live their best life after treatment.
“I believe it is important to take time to listen to patients’ concerns. We meet patients during a vulnerable time in their lives; respecting their experience is necessary.”
