As the former practice president at Willamette Valley Cancer Institute, Dr. John Fitzharris tries to see the good in everyone and every situation.

“I believe in making the best of all situations, both good and bad,” he says.

Empathetic, optimistic and motivated, Dr. Fitzharris gets great satisfaction in helping patients and their families during one of the most difficult times of their lives. He believes in personalized, targeted treatment that uses state-of the-art technology to provide his patients the highest quality care.

“That involves listening carefully to their wishes and finding the right available treatments to accomplish their goals,” he says.

Personal Information

Dr. Fitzharris is on the board of the Lane Blood Center. Outside of work, he enjoys the outdoors with his wife and three children, including road and mountain biking, hiking and fishing.
