Patient Care Philosophy

Compassionate, curious, and highly detailed, Dr. Alexander Bagley joins our Radiation Oncology team with a background in engineering and translational cancer research. While earning his dual MD/PhD, he investigated innovative ways to deliver targeted energy to tumors using nanoparticles, which led to his specialization in Radiation Oncology. After working as a Radiation Oncologist in Oregon for 4 years, Dr. Bagley chose WVCI for its commitment to offering the latest technologies and treatments to patients in our community.

Dr. Bagley believes in a patient-centered approach, emphasizing the importance of understanding each patient's unique concerns and perspectives. He strives to be patient and kind, ensuring that his patients feel heard and supported. It’s important to give patients my full attention so that I may get to know them and understand where they are coming from. Through careful preparation and listening, my goal is to develop a treatment plan for every patient that meets their unique needs.”
