As a physician assistant, Sagen works alongside oncologists to provide treatment for patients as well as much needed education for patients and their families. In addition, she prescribes medications, reviews lab work and helps those who are struggling with the side effects of treatment.
Open-minded, energetic, and caring - Sagen strives to connect with her patients and understand what is most important to them as they go through their healthcare journey. She believes in collaborating with patients in a way that helps them feel engaged, informed, and confident about their healthcare decisions. Sagen adds, "I aim to be accessible and supportive, doing my best to make each patient’s experience as positive as possible."
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my husband and young son. We love the outdoor opportunities in Eugene and nearby regions such as the coast and mountains. My hobbies include cooking, reading, camping,walking my dog, and enjoying sporting events and live music.
