I love oncology because of the patient-provider relationship that develops over time. Together with the physicians, I provide care to patients before, during, and after treatment. My role on our care team is to keep patients on track through side effect management, pain control, and continued follow-up through their treatment and into their recovery. One of the most rewarding aspects of my job is helping patients and their families make a care plan that works for their life circumstances.
When I’m not in clinic, I’m outside! I enjoy surfing, hiking, and trail running. My husband and my dog are my favorite adventure buddies.
